In
response to the radiator market demanding higher performance of the 9W
impeller in large stationary applications, we are adding a 13 bladed
W-retaining plate to the product range.
The addition of the 13 bladed W-retaining plate will extend the maximum
diameter of the 9W impeller to 2140mm. The larger diameter and the
higher number of blades will increase the performance of the 9W
impeller. Beyond that, the 9W impeller will be able to run faster than
a similar size 10G impeller, thereby meeting higher pressure
requirements.
When it comes to noise levels, the 13 bladed W-retaining plate yields
an important benefit. One of the advantages of having an odd number of
blades is that it will reduce the noise generated at the blade-pass
frequency, when used in coolers with a square cross section.
The W-retaining plates are as standard manufactured in a die cast
silumin alloy (EN AC-Al Si12 Cu1 (Fe)), whereas the blades are
available in glass reinforced polyamide, glass reinforced
polypropylene, aluminium and anti static glass reinforced polyamide.
The blades can be set to any pitch angle from 20 degrees to 50 degrees
in one-degree increments to provide a customized fit based on your
specific application requirements.

International a·s or your
local sales office to learn how the 13 bladed W-retaining
plate can optimize your product. The 13 bladed W-retaining plates will
be available in September 2007 throughout the worldwide distributor
network.
